Fundraising Update: Thank You for Your Support!

When we began planning for our first virtual fundraiser, we didn’t know what to expect, especially during these unprecedented times. Your generosity has blown us away.

In just five days, “Bring The Ladies Home for the Holidays” has raised more than $36,000 for The Dwelling Place. While we fell short of our goal, what we received is enough to put us on the road to reopening. Your financial gift will enable us to begin making the necessary alterations to our building so that we can safely reopen during the pandemic.

Because of you, we will be able to resume our mission of bringing women from homeless to home. We cannot thank you enough.

As word continues to spread about our fundraiser, we have decided to extend the deadline to donate. You can still help support our goal by sharing our event with your network. Invite your friends to like our Facebook page, or send them the link to our email list sign-up form. We will be sharing periodic updates as we work to reopen.

Thank you for your support of The Dwelling Place of NY. We wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
